Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to personal data processed by Rouw& through its websites www.kc-ToThePoint.com; and www.uitvaartverzorgingbijdehand.nl and the services it offers. By leaving your personal data and clicking the ‘Finalise’ button, you consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We advise you to read the Privacy Policy carefully and keep a copy for your own records.

2. What data does Rouw& process and for what purpose
2.1. We process the personal data you enter on the Website when ordering funeral services or information. This includes the following personal data: name, address details, telephone number, e-mail address and bank account number. 2.2. The personal data entered by you, and any other information you have entered on the Website, are used for the execution of the agreement and more specifically for the following purposes: (i) the name, address details, telephone number and e-mail address are used to provide the funeral service ordered by you, information requested by you and/or to handle the information, questions and/or complaints obtained from you and for the execution of the service. (ii) Your name and bank account number will be used to settle payments.
2.3. We may anonymise and then further use the personal data at an aggregated and anonymised level in the context of our services and Website for (i) research purposes and (ii) to be able to optimise the services and Website. 2
.4. We will process and store your personal data for a period of one year after the request for information or and/or one year after the termination of the funeral services. 2.5. Upon expiry of the aforementioned retention periods, we will immediately destroy and/or anonymise the personal data, unless we are required by law to retain certain personal data for a longer period. In the latter case, these specific personal data will be retained for the statutory retention period.
3. Security measures and processors
3.1. To protect your personal data, we have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures. These secure your personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage.
3.2. To process the personal data, we use the services of third parties, so-called processors. These processors process the personal data exclusively on our behalf. We have entered into a processor agreement with the processors which obliges the processor to comply with all obligations under the Personal Data Protection Act, the European General Data Protection Regulation and this privacy policy. 4. Right of inspection, deletion and complaints
4.1. Via our customer service (info@kc-ToThePoint.com), you can submit a request to us to view, receive, amend or delete your personal data. We will always deal with your requests without delay and inform you, in any event within one month of receiving the request, of the action we have taken on the request. If we do not comply with your request, we will always explain this in more detail.
4.2. If you wish to object to the (further) processing of your personal data, you can also contact our customer service (info@kc-ToThePoint.com). We will deal with the objection without delay, in any case within one month, and remove the personal data concerned, unless we are obliged to retain the personal data concerned by virtue of a legal obligation. If the latter is the case, we will inform you accordingly.
