๐ Discover the Profound World of Children and Grief: A Sequel to the Grand Success of Our Symposium!
Following the overwhelming success of this year’s โChildren and Griefโ symposium, we are pleased to announce that we will return next year with a follow-up that will offer even more insights, knowledge and support on this delicate and important topic. Next year’s symposium promises to be an engaging experience, with new (and already familiar) speakers, in-depth workshops and even more opportunities to network and share experiences.
๐ **Deep Your Understanding:**
Our symposium is designed to provide an in-depth understanding of how children experience grief and how we as professionals can best support them. We will look at various perspectives and approaches, with experts sharing their knowledge on the psychological, social and emotional aspects of grief in children.
๐ค **Network capabilities:**
After the success of our previous symposium, we have found that the opportunity to share experiences and connect with like-minded people is one of the most valuable aspects for participants. Next year we will emphasize this even more, with expanded networking opportunities, discussion forums and space for interaction between professionals, parents and anyone involved in the well-being of grieving children.
๐ **Multidisciplinary Approach:**
Next year’s symposium will offer a multidisciplinary approach by bringing together experts from different fields. From psychologists and therapists to educators and social workers, we will present a wide range of perspectives to promote a holistic understanding of children and grief.
๐ **Practical Workshops:**
In addition to informative lectures, there will be practical workshops that provide participants with concrete tools and strategies to apply in their work or personal lives. Whether you are a professional working with grieving children or a parent looking for support, our workshops will offer practical insights that can be applied immediately.
Register now for next year’s โChildren and Griefโ symposium and find out how you can make a positive impact on the lives of grieving children. Together, we can make a difference and build a supportive community for those who need it most. Don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to a healthier future for grieving children. See you at our symposium!
Who is this for?
This symposium on grieving children is intended for a broad audience, including:
Healthcare Professionals: Experts in health care, such as psychologists, therapists, social worker, and (palliative) nurses; Who are involved in the health and well-being of children.
Education Professionals: Teachers, principals, school psychologists and other educational experts who support children with grief experiences in the classroom.
Funeral Directors: Professionals working in the funeral industry involved in assisting families through the loss of a loved one, including supporting children in grief.
Hospice workers: Caregivers who work in hospices and deal with terminally ill patients and their families, including children grieving the loss of a loved one.
Is this symposium with training credits?
The answer to that question is no. There are no PE points, SKJ points, Register Square points or other points for this event. Why not? There are several reasons for this:
1. Every accreditation costs money, and more money means a higher ticket price. In fact, we wanted to keep the cost as low as possible to keep this event accessible to all.
2. We couldn’t choose between all the registries out there and there are simply too many registries to be able to apply for accreditation for all professional groups.
3. Accreditation also means administration. And administration means, collecting signatures from everyone who attended, checking names and registration numbers, passing on points. In short, more work. Which, in turn, also results in a higher ticket price.
You will receive a certificate of participation with your name, the content of the plenary part and the workshops you attended (with the name of the trainer), so that you can apply for your own points at the accreditation organizations applicable to you.
Do I need to make preparations?
No. The only preparation you need to do is plan free, and show up rested on that day. Oh yeah. And you might want to bring your favorite pen for taking notes?
What do I get for my ticket?
If you thought the 2024 program was already valuable, look at this program!
When will I receive my ticket?
The tickets will be sent out soon. There will be an update on the site when they are shipped.
When will the workshop schedule be announced?
Once the puzzle was solved about the workshop format. In 2024, this meant about 4 days after the last ticket was sold.
